Features: The children’s area will be blooming with activity featuring train rides, face painting and a balloon artist. Dallas Water utilities will be available to offer assistance to “Cease the Grease,” a program to inform residents on proper grease disposal in your home and Dallas Storm Water will teach residents how to keep pollution out of our local creeks and lakes. Planting and cultivating information will be available from local plant societies, including the Dallas Rose Society and the Bonsai Society of Dallas. Also on hand to prick your curiosity is the Kactus Korral selling cacti and other succulent plants. Ikebana International will demonstrate the art of Japanese flower arrangement while the Dallas Society of Master Gardeners will be there to teach you to be the master of your own garden. Musical entertainment will be provided by Tropical Sounds, a steel drum band, and to get your giddy-up there will be strolling entertainment with a classic western flair by Trigger Happy.
