Become a Vendor

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the Dallas Farmers Market. We are proud to serve as a small business arena for the many wonderful farms, nurseries, bakeries, meat providers, honey, restaurants and specialty food producers our area has to offer. Every vendor is carefully screened with a commitment to creating a diverse marketplace with the highest quality locally produced products available.

Please complete the following steps to find out if you qualify to become a vendor at the Dallas Farmers Market.

Step 1: Find Out If You Qualify

Dallas Farmers Market is a unique environment hosting access to several vendor types in a public market setting.

Farmers are defined as a person who distributes, offers for sale, or sells fresh produce that the person has raised, grown or produced on land the person or a member of the persons’ immediate family owns or leases within the service area. The service area for the Market is a 150-mile radius.

Produce Dealers are defined as someone who distributes, offers for sale, or sells refrigerated produce that has been purchased from another person or a wholesale produce establishment.

Even as we are a public market and welcome a variety of products, we currently are not accepting the following items:

  • Concessions
  • Nationally distributed packaged foods
  • Energy drinks
  • Pet foods
  • Non-pasteurized dairy products
  • Import vendors
  • Crafts (excluding handmade items; see Handcrafter Market)

Step 2: Learn About Market Rules and Regulations

We are often asked questions regarding the fees, licenses and permits required to become a vendor. Please read the documents below regarding answers to these questions and refer to Chapter 29 governing the Dallas Farmers Market.

Step 3: Submit A Request For Vendor Participation

If you are a Farm Producer within a 150-mile radius of the Dallas Farmers Market and would like to retail and/or wholesale, complete the Grower’s Statement and Application. Return to the Administration Office.

If you are a Produce Dealer and would like to retail or wholesale produce, complete the Dealer's License Application and return to Operations Office.

If you are not a Farmer or Dealer and would like to become a vendor at the Dallas Farmers Market, please review the other programs available, such as Specialty Food, Handcrafter, Buskar, or Restaurant, under the Vendor tab and complete the applicable program application and return to the Administration Office.
